【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardspecifiesahigh-performanceliquidchromatographic(HPLC)methodforthedeterminationoftheiodidecontentofpasteurizedwholemilkanddriedskimmilk,whenpresentatlevelsfrom0,03μg/gto1μg/gand0,3μg/gto10,0μg/grespectively.NOTE1Themethodhasbeencollaborativelystudiedwithsamplesofliquidwholemilkanddriedskimmilk.Therearenoreasonstoexpectthatthemethodwouldnotbeapplicabletoskimmedorpartiallyskimmedmilkaswellastodriedwholemilk.NOTE2Themethodmeasuresfree(ionic)iodide.However,thetotaliodidecontentoffreshmilkandgoodqualitymilkpowder,inwhichnomicrobialgrowthhasoccurred,maycontainamassfractionof5%to10%oforganicallyboundiodide.Moreiodidemightbeboundorganicallyinmilkwheremicrobiologicaldeteriorationhasbeenoccurred.
