【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardisoneofaseriesofstandardsdealingwiththesamplingandtestingofpaints,varnishesandrelatedproducts.Itspecifiesatestmethodfordeterminingthespecularglossofpaintfilmsusingareflectometergeometryof20°60°or85°Themethodisnotsuitableforthemeasurementoftheglossofmetallicpaints.a)The60°geometryisapplicabletoallpaintfilms,butforveryhighglossandnear-mattfilms20°or85°maybemoresuitable.b)The20°geometry,whichusesasmallerreceptoraperture,isintendedtogiveimproveddifferentiationbetweenhigh-glosspaintfilms(i.e.filmswitha60°specularglosshigherthanabout70units).c)The85°geometryisintendedtogiveimproveddifferentiationbetweenlow-glosspaintfilms(i.e.filmswitha60°specularglosslowerthanabout10units).NOTE1Thesamegeometryshould,ofcourse,beretainedforaseriesofmeasurementsevenifthismeansdisregardingthesuggestedlimits.NOTE2Insomecases,thedeterminationofspecularglossmaynotcorrespondtoavisualassessment.
